Going to Bintan
There are four sea ports that can be used to reach Bintan Regency. They are Roro Port of Tanjunguban, the Bulang Linggi Port (Tanjunguban), Kijang port and the Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal which is located in the Teluk Sebong. Another alternative to reach Bintan is by air. If using this route, you can user aircraft from Soekarno-hatta Airport (Jakarta), directly to the airport of Raja Haji Fisabillah(Kijang).
By Sea

When you want left for Bintan via Passenger Port of Bulang Linggi, you must first stop in the Telaga Punggur Port, Batam. From this passenger port, you will be served by speed boat of medium size which can carry 20 passengers to 60 passengers.
Every day, the speed boats that depart every one in a hour, the first scheduled departure at seven o’clock in the morning. While the last speed boat which departed from the Port of Telaga Punggur to Tanjunguban is at six o’clock. There are a lot of speed carriers serving these routes, among them are Putra Kepri, Super Jaya, Lagoi Express, Sea Star, etc.
Travel time from Telaga Punggur to Tanjunguban is about 15 minutes. Short enough because the distance between the two ports was not far, only about a few miles. The one way fare, per person is Rp 35.000, -.
Another sea route to Bintan is through the Roro Port of Telaga Punggur. From this port you can also across your vehicle at the same time, like a car, motorbike or bus. It is known that Roro Port is a specific port managed by PT. ASDP corporation to serve passengers and goods from Telaga Punggur to Roro Port of Tanjunguban.
However, when using this path, the latency becomes a bit longer than using a speedboat. It is approximately one hour. One-way fare is Rp20.000 As for the motorcycle Rp. 30.000.
There are three ships that serve this route: MVBarau, MV Kuala Batee 2 and MV Swarna Bengawan. As for the schedule, the ships depart every two hours, every day.

In addition to these two ports, you can also reach out Bintan by ferry via Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT), Lagoi. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes. The schedule, depart every day from Port of Telaga Punggur at 07.30 am and 11.30 am. Conversely, from the BBT to Telaga Punggur, at 09.30am and 05.30pm.
BBT Ferry Terminal is an international ferry port serving the Singapore- Lagoi and vice versa From the neighboring country, all ferries sailing the route starting from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT). Until now, there is only one ferry operator serving these routes, the Bintan Resort Ferry which operates fleet of four ferries, they are Wan Seribeni, Wan Sendari, Aria Bupala and Indra Bupala.
By Air

Another alternative to reach Bintan is by air. If using this route, you can user aircraft from Soekarno-hatta Airport (Jakarta), directly to the airport of Raja Haji Fisabillah(Kijang). The long flight from Jakarta to Bintan is about 1 hour 20 minutes. Rates, depending on the airline policy you choose.
